looking forward to getting back to fiji shortly, its fruiting season and time to fill the cold pressing drums and let the juice develop its medicinal qualities, business is ticking over, people always appreciate a consistant quality product that does work.i am hoping to develop markets with russian and chinese clients, the market is very tough,we are up for it,the long haul and ready to meet the market,or rather let the market decide what they will pay us for our quality product.
i paid $6246-30 in damage to the rental car after my son blew up 2 of their cars,!! i have been their client for over 20 yrs and they have been very decent regarding my sons actions.in 3 weeks he has destroyed my 35 yr reputation.
last time i send a boy to do a mans job.!
my friend saki has had teenage son trouble, also.saki savui(his wife) and i need no help to run the farm, best do it ourselves so we know it is done right.
putting power on to castle at present, much safer, especially when wet.
have a great day.

mission acomplished

well ,jedd landed back in auckland 40 minutes ago,he is glad to be back after a busy 3 weeks i am sure.we will be going back in late march for a first strike on the fruiting season, the next 2 wet months will produce a lot of fruit.jedd managed to produce 1000litres of available juice with the sparse fruit available at this dry time,so has done well.
he started modifing his car , fitted a boom box speaker, and has plans for a 5 speed gearbox etc..etc!!!! be the fastest farm car in fiji!!!!
anyway we are waiting for him to walk into the house and talanoa levu (tell us big stories) about his first time running the family farms, maybe he knows a little of what i have had to do to make it happen over the last 16 years and more....lets hope the business meetings i have been having come to some form of fruition...time will tell... and the fruit keeps on growing.all the best .

CLEAN UP TIME!!!

The farm needed some serious attention after our absence due to family affairs. We helped Vuninia with their provisional taxes and Ratu Sevoloni sent up many men to the farm to clean overgrowth in one day with machetes'.
Our son Jedd has spent last 3 weeks finnishing up;repairing fences,re-stocking farm with cows, cleaning up trees, picking and processing fruit and general maintaince.
He also bought a car and organised a mains power fitout for our fortress!
Jo-anne and i are very happy how Jedd has handled things, running farms overseas,at 20yrs of age!
Good on him.

noni wife deported; family reunited

well saki did it by the book this time, got social welfare involved and low and behold savui was deported from american samoa for obvious reasons and is now back in fiji.she went to her homeland rakiraki, unsure if saki would be amiable.saki is a good looking man could snap his fingers and have another woman, but he is a good man and wants only what is best for his family, including savui, who is a great woman, everybody makes mistakes.i sent saki 200fjd and he has travelled to rakiraki to reunite the family.
have just imported 800 litres of noni into n.z.
am hoping qualmark may inspect my products and bring me onboard.
a happy family is an early heaven.!

life goes on

runaway wife has gone again, saki has handled it well ,looking after his 3 young kids, the farm is getting overgrown as i have had to stay in new zealand caring for my ill wife, going up to the farm soon, will see the chief of vuniniu village and give the church a contribution and 50 fijians with machetes will turn up and clean my farm up in a day.got good stock levels and am picking farm, also will approach minister of inland village for further fruit stock of such high quality i am proud to use it.
to change the subject reserch is showing that taking coconut oil internally (orally) has better effects at negating alzimers and dementuer, amazing results,i will have to try to remember to try it.
anyway cant wait to take the family back to the mahevu vatea castle in fiji, see our good buddy SAKI and have agreat family time with the kids as well as help others and ourselves, life goes on.

Mahevu Farm news;"The Rule Of Thumb"

In the 1400's a law was set forth in England that a man was allowed to
beat his wife with a stick, no thicker than his thumb,

Hence we have 'the rule of thumb'...
In Fiji they had a poligimiy stick about 2 foot long , solid hard wood stick, to control the wife's when they argue.People i know have more than one wife, my mate Skipper has 2 .I find one more than enough!!!! In many parts of the world this is still common.
Just imagine I've been caring for mine , and all the family for 6 months now, being both Mum and Dad to a 9 year old boygoing on 15 , plus a 17 year old girl , 6 foot 2 ,back from France,
and a 20 year old boy ,6 foot 4, he left home at 17 ,and is true to his name, a maverick.
All I can say is if all men knew how much noni helps with PMT or woman problems, boy, oh boy they would buy it by the truck load!
Gives you a sense of wellness, you feel good, energy, it gives you a good sleep, all postives, plus for most it targets your problem area, illness/weakness ie. asthma, heart problems/inflammation in joints, no trick to it, its helping the body to work more efficently.
So the body heals itself!

News from Murray at Mahevu

Cancer is like a winchester it makes all men equal.
Do you know that the few alternative" medicines/treatments/supplements that they let you use during chemo therapy for cancer is NONI ,and this very good product we found lyposperic vit C.
Available at Ponsonby health shop,Ponsonby rd Auckland.
This enters your body efficiently as its in such a pure/ easily adsorbed form. My wife has found it one of the best things that have lifted her, the things we did for her beside the great diet and juicing was our noni that we drink naturally in quanitity, this lipo stuff and manuka honey , both from clients of ours that stock our products, the doctors could not believe the 2 seperate cancer tumours had not increased insize, had not gone to the next grade/ incurable and had not spread into other parts of the body. This is a very aggressive, triple negative cancer the worst kind...
I am recommending the lipo to everyone i meet, its only 1000mg but works better than 8x 1000 normal vit C pill you would buy, its worth raving about! My wife is now cancer free and under going chemo but we can continue with these 3 products, her nails are stronger than ever in her life, no more asthma/hayfever, skin is great and the hair is growing! Surprising what the body can do withe the right food and goodness. www.mahevufarm.co.nz

24/7 houseboys

what a learning curve 2011 has been so far !,my wife is getting the better of the breast cancer she's been fighting, incredible attitude she has, mind over matter is all important,my friend saki who lives not far from my farm in serua had his wife take off to american samoa leaving him with the 4 kids aged 19,10,6 and3,both saki and i are 24/7 houseboys at present keeping the families going, and we both would be the first to say it's not easy, not a moment to get on with "man stuff", what a joke that is,there is nothing more manly than taking care of your family, trying to run a farm at the same time is just awkward, thats all.we both realise how hard working and good our wives are and are hoping for a positive resolution to our present situation, just like women, a man can do anything as long as he has the time and energy. all women from the islands come to NZ for breast cancer treatment, quite often it is too late as they don't have screening or regular mammograms.
we found the lumps ourselves, that was the fun part! but man o man do they grow fast if it is an aggressive non hormonal cancer such as my wife's, don't muck around,we found noni juice, fish oil and vitamin c, the lyposheric type made by livonlabs, really helped the situation slowing tumor growth and it didnt spread into bone marrow, liver etc. also noni, lypospheric vit c and fish oil are acceptable to use in small doses during chemotherpy without affecting the effectivness of the chemo. the farm can wait till april, get our women right in march.

News for 2011

We are off to a great start for the year, noni trees are abundant with fruit, nearly time to harvest.
Many of our products becoming popular like the pawpaw powder for stomach, and digestive problems, so many people rave about this simple remedy that relieves pain instantly. Many people use it daily sprinkled on there breakfast and experience no more problems with irritable bowel and similar complaints. We use the green pawpaw and cut and dry it, it has no additives or unwanted extras, 100% pure fruit.
No cyclone damage so far this year after two devastating cyclone hit our area in Fiji in 2009 and 2010 we are watching the weather closely. The noni trees are so hardy they don't even lose their fruit ,even though all the leaves are stripped from the trees. Cola vina!

Mahevu Farm add New Wonder-Juice to the Product Range

Caption caption
Check here for news updates from Mahevu Farm.

After a 20 year affinity with the Fiji Islands, in particular the Serua Province, we purchased our first farm. My Fijian friend and I cleared the land by hand using machetes and planted kava, pineapple, dalo and cassava. We went through the jungle and collected the local indigenous Noni saplings and interplanted them.

Since the kava market became unstable, we have concentrated soley on producing quality Noni products. The Fijian Noni suits its environment and has a high seed content which improves the strengh and quality of the product.
